Overview

85Blends is designed to help E85 and flex-fuel drivers calculate ethanol blends, find nearby E85 stations, manage vehicle profiles, track fill-ups, and set reminders. We aim to collect only what is needed to operate and improve the app.

Information you enter in the app

The app may allow you to enter information such as vehicle nicknames, vehicle details, tank size, target ethanol blend, odometer readings, fuel logs, fuel prices, station names, notes, and reminder details. This information is used to provide app features such as blend calculations, garage defaults, fill-up history, and service reminders.

Local storage and iCloud

85Blends is intended to keep your garage, fuel log, reminder, and calculator data under your control. App data may be stored locally on your device. If iCloud sync or backup is enabled, your data may also be stored through Apple iCloud according to your Apple account and iCloud settings.

Location information

If you choose to use nearby station features, the app may request access to your location to search for E85 stations near you, show distance, or support trip and station-related features. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings. If location permission is disabled, nearby station features may be limited or unavailable.

Community station and price information

If the app allows you to submit or update community station details or fuel price reports, the information you submit may include station details, price, fuel type, timestamp, and related report information. Community-submitted information may be displayed to other users to help keep station and price information useful.

Diagnostics and technical information

The app or website may receive limited technical information needed to operate, troubleshoot, protect, or improve the service. This may include device or browser type, app version, crash or error information, and general usage events. We do not use this information to sell your personal data.

Website information

When you visit 85Blends.app, standard web hosting systems may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. This information is used for security, reliability, and site operation.

Third-party services

85Blends may rely on third-party services to provide certain features, such as Apple services, map services, cloud hosting, station data, email support, or website hosting. These providers may process information as needed to provide their services. Your use of those features may also be subject to their own privacy policies.

Advertising and selling data

85Blends does not sell your personal information. The current product direction is to avoid third-party banner advertising inside the app.

Children's privacy

85Blends is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete information you enter in the app where the app provides those controls.
• You can disable location permission in iOS Settings.
• You can manage iCloud behavior through your Apple account and device settings.

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information associated with the app and website. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
