By using the 85Blends app or website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
What 85Blends does
85Blends provides tools for E85 and flex-fuel drivers, including ethanol blend calculations, station-related tools, vehicle profiles, fuel logs, reminders, and planning utilities.
Estimates only
85Blends provides estimates and planning tools only. Ethanol content, pump fuel quality, vehicle configuration, tuning, injector capacity, fuel system condition, weather, driving style, and other factors can affect real-world results. You are responsible for verifying that any fuel blend, fuel choice, or vehicle setup is safe and appropriate for your vehicle.
No mechanical, tuning, legal, or safety advice
85Blends is not a substitute for professional mechanical, tuning, safety, emissions, or legal advice. Always follow your vehicle manufacturer guidance, tuner recommendations, local laws, fuel system limitations, and safety requirements.
Fueling and vehicle risk
You are solely responsible for how you use the app’s calculations and information. Incorrect fuel blends, inaccurate inputs, contaminated fuel, unsupported vehicle setups, or improper use may cause drivability issues or vehicle damage. 85Blends is not responsible for damage, losses, or issues caused by your fueling decisions or vehicle modifications.
Station and price information
Station availability, fuel type, pricing, and community reports may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unavailable. Always verify station details and pump labels before fueling.
Community submissions
If you submit station details, price reports, or other community information, you agree to provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge and not submit misleading, unlawful, harmful, or abusive content. We may remove or limit community content at our discretion.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, interfere with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the app, website, or related services.
- Do not submit false, harmful, abusive, infringing, or illegal content.
- Do not use the app or website in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Intellectual property
85Blends, including its name, branding, design, text, images, code, and related content, is owned by its developer or licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from 85Blends content except as allowed by law or with written permission.
Third-party services
85Blends may link to or rely on third-party services such as Apple services, map providers, station data providers, cloud services, or website hosting. Those third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.
Availability and changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app or website at any time. Features may change as the product evolves.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app and website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that calculations, station data, price reports, reminders, or other information will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 85Blends and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses related to vehicle damage, fueling decisions, data loss, lost profits, or service interruption.
Termination
We may limit or terminate access to the app, website, or related services if we believe these terms have been violated or if needed to protect the product, users, or service integrity.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app or website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
